WHO WE ARE

Before Zodiac Arts was established Laurence Carbon was teaching Kung Fu, a system called (Lao Ma Quan). He wanted to bring his self defence system, to everyone in the community.

"Through research I came across the Gateway Club for special needs.

After a year as a volunteer, I developed a Body Management self defence program for special needs group, with the help of a grant from the Peabody Trust.

"At the time I was working full time for Ronald Joyce (Bridal Company) in the picture above I mentioned my passion and interest to Anne Princess Royal", Laurence Carbon.

Laurence's unique way of teaching Martial Arts  has developed his own approach to coach special needs to improve their balance ,coordination and special awareness in activities'.

Zodiac Arts provide workshops for sports and recreation pursuit tailored to the needs of children, young people and adults with  disabilities particularly wheelchair users.

This is great to promote inclusivity and enhance their quality of life through recreational and  physical  activities.
