WELL-BEING & OUTREACH

OUR AIMS

We offer help & support to participants in the community to overcome loneliness,

through interactive keep fit & well-being sessions.

We work with large & small groups tailored to the groups' needs.

We offer outreach (home visits) & one-to-one support (or exercises via Zoom).

Through GP referrals & Social Prescribing you are able to access outreach activities, for example Kung Fu Self defence,
Weight training, Boccia, Chair based exercises, Spina Bifida Massage.

The benefits - improved: fine and gross motor skills, balance, strength & mobility

& hand & eye co-ordination.

Improved hand and eye co-ordination Improved leg and mobility strength

Throwing and catching a basketball improves, strength, mobility and eye and hand coordination.

Well- being Day was a huge success at the Dutch Pot Lunch and Social Club for the older members in the community. Maria who lives at Ada Court explained how difficult it is to see her GP and welcomed the opportunity from Denise, Zodiac Arts GP referral instructor to give her healthy eating advice

and take her blood pressure reading at the event.

As we age and our skin loses elasticity, massage improves blood circulation, delivering oxygen and nutrients to nourish, tone, and enhance skin texture.

Therapeutic massage focuses on relaxation, stress relief, and overall wellness.

Sports massage targets muscle recovery, injury prevention, and athletic performance.
